Colinton Arts, in Edinburgh’s Colinton Village, is a contemporary art gallery showing work by established artists and giving early-career artists, like Gill, the chance to exhibit in a professional space and develop their practice. The gallery is delighted to partner with an exciting new talent whose work will appeal to their customers who have a keen interest in Scottish scenery, especially when given such a fresh perspective.

Gill’s semi-abstract style and unique vision of land and sea perfectly capture the passion of the elements. The immersive, emotional, and energetic seascapes and landscapes use a reduced palette to convey a strong sense of atmosphere to the viewer. Gill comments, “I draw on my abiding love of light and shade to immerse the viewer in a world of possibilities and occasional peril.”

The artworks in the exhibition are available to view and purchase through the Colinton Arts website www.colinton-arts.co.uk.
