There are numerous exciting events scheduled for the Pentland Book Festival 2023, and we would be delighted if you could join us.
If you have a child, grandchild, or a young family member aged between 6 and 12 years old, they are warmly invited to participate in the local Author’s event.
Chikamso, one of the youngest authors to appear at the Pentland Book Festival, likes writing because he has a big imagination. This is evident in his first published book: “The Official Gang” about which he will be speaking. Chikamso illustrated the book himself as well, no mean feat for a twelve-year-old!
At the end of the event, Chikamso will be available to sign copies of The Official Gang. Chikamso will be using 50% of the royalties from the book sales to support children in need especially those children who have been negatively impacted by ‘gang’ activities.

Aside from the Author’s event, there are other exciting and insightful events taking place during the Pentland Book Festival that you must not miss such as the session with ex-BBC correspondent and Chair of the Edinburgh International Book Festival, Allan Little.
