This summer, the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland is launching two exciting new residential summer schools: Shakespeare at the Castle and Musical Theatre at the Castle.
Held at the historic Dean Castle in Kilmarnock, these immersive, two-week adult-only residential programmes offer students a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to train, rehearse, perform, and stay in a unique Scottish setting. Students will benefit from expert tuition, intensive rehearsals, and skills development, working closely with professional tutors from Scotland’s national conservatoire—ranked among the world’s Top Ten institutions for the performing arts (QS World Rankings 2025).
To find out more, the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland is hosting two free webinars where prospective students and their families can meet the course tutors, hear about the programmes and accommodation, and ask any questions:
Musical Theatre at the Castle Webinar – Tuesday 30 April https://www.rcs.ac.uk/courses/musical-at-the-castle-18/
Shakespeare at the Castle Webinar – Thursday 16 May https://www.rcs.ac.uk/courses/shakespeare-at-the-castle/
