Miller Homes Scotland East Backs Edinburgh United FC with £1,000 Community Fund Grant

Miller Homes Scotland East has awarded £1,000 to Edinburgh United Football Club 2013 through its Community Fund initiative.

Launched in 2022, the Community Fund has continued to make a positive impact in communities across Scotland, distributing £344,000 to 538 organisations. The funding has supported a broad range of local projects, including foodbanks, sports clubs, music groups and creative spaces, helping communities thrive at a grassroots level.

So far in 2025 Community Fund has supported seventeen groups across Scotland with a share of £20,000, including Edinburgh United Foodball Club. Miller Homes‘ donation to the group will go towards purchasing essential equipment and aiding team building activities.

Duncan Wright, head coach at Edinburgh United Football Club said:

“Thanks to a generous £1,000 donation from Miller Homes, we can continue to provide our players with the equipment and support they need to develop both on and off the pitch. This funding will make a real difference to our team-building activities and overall experience for the players. We’re incredibly grateful for Miller Homes’ support and their commitment to football groups in the community.”
