Experience the Sinister and Surreal with ‘An Unexpected Hiccup’ at Edinburgh Fringe

Published:

Caught in a storm and looking for help, Murdo knocks on the door of a dark, old house. The family inside seems to be expecting him. A bizarre quintet of siblings is waiting for their father to die and Murdo is somehow involved…

Brilliantly threading the fine line between surreal and sinister, An Unexpected Hiccup is a chilling tale of comic misunderstandings and dangerous eccentricities presented by Lung Ha Theatre Company, one of the UK’s leading theatre companies for people with learning disabilities, in collaboration with Plutôt la Vie, the Edinburgh-based performing arts company known for their physical and visually-driven theatre.

The show was originally created and performed under strict COVID procedures during the global pandemic in 2021. This new production will be the inaugural show for the Lung Ha Touring Company which will provide further opportunities for performers to create and tour new and existing work, with bespoke and specialist actor training.
