The national awards for the Scottish legal sector have been rescheduled for their 17th annual competition.
The Scottish Legal Awards 2020 will now take place on Thursday 1st October 2020 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Glasgow.
All bookings for the March event, which was postponed due to the lockdowns, will be automatically carried over to the new date.
Should the government prevent the live awards event from going ahead, then the event will be replaced with a digital event that will be broadcast on social media.
A decision on the exact format of the event will be made by 21 August 2020.
32 teams and 14 individuals have been highlighted as finalists in the 17th annual competition following a detailed assessment of the competition’s 17 categories. Over 80 entries were received from 48 firms across Scotland.
The competition is sponsored by Scott + Co, Frasia Wright Associates, The Law Society of Scotland, Scottish Building Society, Property Searches Scotland, Eclipse Proclaim, iManage and Wolffe Design. The media partner is The Times.
