Rioja Wine UK is excited to be hosting an unforgettable evening immersed in the enchanting Spanish wine region of Rioja.
For one night only, we invite consumers to try the region’s finest wines at the Rioja Wine Fair: an exciting evening of discovery held at Edinburgh’s luxury five-star hotel, The Balmoral.
Whether you like rich and bold red wines, crisp and fruity whites, or elegant rosés, there is sure to be a Rioja wine perfect for you. Throughout the evening, we’ll also be serving up a selection of globally inspired canapés to showcase the exceptional food pairing potential of wines from this diverse region.
The Region
As Spain’s leading wine region, Rioja is celebrated throughout the world for the quality of its wines. Recognised historically for its barrel-aged reds, today Rioja is at the forefront of the industry and its pioneering spirit is more alive than ever. This tasting offers wine lovers the unique opportunity to taste the huge variety of wine styles coming out of the region, from acclaimed classics through to more avant-garde and bold proposals.
Seminar
There will also be the chance to elevate your tasting experience by joining a tutored tasting hosted by renowned wine writer and Master of Wine, Rose Murray Brown, as she delves into the rich diversity of this captivating wine region. Places at the masterclass will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
