Demijohn Celebrates 20 Years with Glenlair Feastival: A Day of Music, Food, and Drink

Published:

The Demijohn Company was founded in Edinburgh during 2004 by Angus and Frances Ferguson and is now based at Glenlair Steading on their family farm in South West Scotland.

They source unusual, delicious artisan liqueurs, spirits, oils and vinegars from around the UK and Europe and sell them in a wide range of refillable glass bottles via their international mail order service and farm shop concession stores. Each bottle can have a free handwritten personalised message added. Gift wrapping is also available.

Multi award-winning Demijohn has achieved a most impressive 20 years now. The Music, Food & Drink Festival – titled Glenlair Feastival – celebrates this momentous occasion at Glenlair Steading on the 17th August 2024. With live music, local food producers, plus (of course) Demijohn cocktails and liqueurs, it is set to be a great day.

Glenlair Steading is the place and 12pm to 6pm is the time. The Demijohn Store, at Glenlair Steading, will be open from 10am. Planning it to become an annual Galloway event, Angus and Frances can show due pride in their achievements over the past 20 years.

Demijohn has grown over the years to now become a (worldwide) trusted name for high quality foods and drinks. Certainly, Scotland can be duly proud of the success of Demijohn. Over 70 large glass containers, filled with unique alcoholic and non-alcoholic delectations, greet the eye in the Demijohn Store at Glenlair Steading, which also include oils, dressings and vinegars. Most   impressive arrays of ingredients are available too. Beautiful, Italian glass bottles, all very attractive shapes and sizes, enhance the productions which (I consider) make great and much admired purchases. An environmentally friendly bottle refill policy is a further plus point.

Tickets for the Glenlair Feastival are £15 (adult, 18+), £10 (young adult, 16+), children (under 16) free. Tickets are also available on the Demijohn website, with more information as well on Social Media Channels.
